The Project for the Promotion of Equality of Treatment and Non-Discrimination “Educulturas” commemorates the International Day of Migrants in the town of Jimena de la Frontera. For the celebration of this ephemeris a screening of a series of short films which have been made during these last two years. These videos are the result of the Audiovisual Workshop that is part of this project and that takes place in Secondary Education centers in the Campo de Gibraltar region.
This cycle has been screened in the El Silo building in Jimena and it has been attended by 3º and 4º ESO students from IES Hozgarganta. After viewing these short films, a debate has been established on the topics discussed and reflection on migration and human rights. Likewise, young people have received a brochure with figures and data related to this topic from the technical staff of the Foundation.
